CutieDesk

Small, pretty, draggable widgets that live on your desktop.

CutieDesk is a lightweight Windows app that puts a set of independent, freely movable widgets on your desktop. They sit just above your wallpaper, behind the apps you're using, and come forward when you go to the desktop (for example with Win+D).

Free · Windows 10 and 11 · updates install automatically in the background

Widgets

• Clock — time and date, in your own time zone or any other.
• Weather — a multi-day forecast for your location or any city you choose.
• Calendar — connects to your Google Calendar (optional) to show a month view across your calendars, and lets you add, edit, delete and repeat events right from the widget.
• Now Playing — connects to your Spotify account (optional) to show what's playing, with play/pause, skip, shuffle, repeat and a volume slider.
• Notepad — notes with bullets, checklists, bold, italic, colours and highlights, saved automatically on your own computer.
• Countdown — count the days to birthdays, trips, deadlines or any date that matters to you.

Make it yours

Drag every widget anywhere, resize it, show or hide it, and pick its background, accent and text colours and opacity. With more than one monitor, choose which screen the widgets live on.

Your data stays on your computer

Connecting Google or Spotify is optional and only needed for the Calendar and Now Playing widgets. Your sign-ins, notes, countdowns and settings are stored locally on your own computer; CutieDesk has no servers of its own and no analytics. The Privacy Policy explains exactly what the app accesses and which services it talks to.
